Chef David was born to cook. He was just eight years old when he began his career working for his father in their family owned restaurant. As a teenager, David cooked most of the family meals for his eight brothers and sisters. Today, you will find David cooking under various
Chef Brent Moore, born in Gainesville, Florida has been cooking since the age of 10. At age 14 he secured his first restaurant job, and hasn’t stopped since.
In 1999-2002 Brent attended
circumstances, which might include an exclusive dinner in a client’s home, or passed-down recipes for a family gathering. After attending culinary school in Asheville, North Carolina, David was appointed Chef D’Cuisine at the well known Marketplace and Wine Bar in downtown Asheville. David studied under the renowned Chef/Owner, Mark Rosenstein, who mentored David just as he had many great chefs before him.In December 2001, David and his wife Mandy returned to their home state of Florida. After working in The Dining Room at The Ritz-Carlton Resort, Naples, David has worked for private clubs and local restaurants where he gained further knowledge of the southwest Florida food scene. Most notably, David held positions at Chardonnay Restaurant in Naples, and Bonita Bay Club in Bonita Springs.
Upon the creation of Solo Chef, Personal Chef Services, David has had the great honor to cook for professional athletes, celebrities, and top CEO’s. Also, paired with Infinite Growth Group, www.infintegrowthgroup.com, David served as an expert chef inventing new foods & beverages, as well as creating hands-on culinary inventing sessions at The Culinary Institute of America at Greystone in Napa Valley California.
Culinary School at Colorado Mountain College in Vail, Colorado. In addition, he completed a 6000 hour (3 year) American Culinary Federation sponsored apprenticeship at the Lodge at Vail. Brent has worked and trained in many different restaurant and hotel markets including: Santa Barbara, CA; Vail, CO; New York City, NY; Rumson, NJ; Naples, FL; Menerbes, France and Atlanta, GA. He has also worked with some of the top chefs in the country including Thomas Salamunovich, Julian Serrano, David Burke and Paul Ferzacca.
Brent incorporates local, seasonal and sustainable products into his creations. His outlook on food is simple, use the best ingredients possible while allowing their natural flavors to shine.
Brent currently lives with his wife, Jodi in Naples, FL where he owns and operates the Solo Chef Catering and Events division.
